Our story

A dad on
a mission.

Snap Count started with a film drive, a phone, and a kid playing for a small school in one of the least recruited states in America. Nobody was coming to find him — so we made sure he couldn't be missed.

The wall

Most recruiting advice isn't written for us

It assumes you already have the audience: film in front of the right coaches, a program with a pipeline, a state the recruiters already drive through. We had none of it.

The talent was there. The exposure wasn't. And from the inside, silence doesn't feel like a problem to solve — it just feels like nothing is happening while everyone else's kids get named.

The turn

So we treated it like a marketing problem

Because that's exactly what it was. Visibility isn't luck — it's a system. We stopped hoping someone would find the film and started building a presence coaches couldn't scroll past. Four moves, run every week, all season.

  1. 01

    Audit the truth

Every profile, every post, every clip — reviewed for what a college coach actually sees in the first ten seconds.

  2. 02

    Pick a lane

Positioning: what kind of player, which schools, what story. One clear message, so people remember who they're looking at.

  3. 03

    Build the calendar

A posting plan built around the season and the signing dates, so the content lands when coaches are on their phones.

  4. 04

    Ship real content

Cinematic video, real photography, offer graphics. Consistent, every week, all season long.

The result

The film stopped staying local

Coaches started reaching out from across the country — schools we never would have found on our own. The offers followed. One of my sons now holds D1 offers.

The plan that got him there is the same plan Snap Count runs now: audit, strategy, calendar, and content that looks like the program you want to play for.

You don't need a bigger program to get noticed. You need a plan that makes people look.

Founder, Snap Count

Father of three high school football players, one with D1 offers. I built Snap Count because there wasn't anyone doing this for us — so I learned the marketing, ran it on my own kid, and it worked. Now it's the job.
